Heavy Metal Detox --- Bacterial, Viral, Fungal Infections --- Calcium Ions --- Myelin Sheath --- DNA damage

A) Heavy Metal Detoxification

Over time, we accumulate heavy metals in our body from our environment. These heavy metals can originate from the air we breathe, the water we drink, or the house that we live in. Additionally, any metal items that are inserted into our bodies, whether as dental materials (fillings) or other medical devices (screws to repair fractures) can also contribute to the heavy metal load that we carry.

It is believed that the metal in our bodies can react with the EMF fields in our environment, whereby we begin to act like antennas.

In order to remove heavy metals from your body, you should first assess the amount of heavy metals in your body. Then, remove them through a process which is known as CHELATION. This is a long and laborious process that can take 2-5 years to complete.

Chelation therapy [1] was first used in World War I and II when soldiers became poisoned by arsenic based poison gas (Lewisite) and lead paint from ship hulls. The chelating agents BAL and EDTA were invented at this time. Another common chelating agent, DMSA, was invented in the 1960s.

Heavy metal analysis has been in use for decades by Toxicologists and by Forensic Analysts. Toxicologists have used heavy metal analysis to examine the industrial effects of toxins on employees. Forensic Analysts have used heavy metal analysis to examine individuals exposure at crime scenes and during autopsies. Only recently, has this procedure become available to the general public.

Laboratories and Doctors who perform heavy metal analysis and detoxification can be found at:

  1. AAEM, American Academy of Environmental Medicine. Search for a doctor in your area.

  2. ACOEM, American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Search for a doctor in your area. Note that toxicologists follow stricter standards for the Work place (vs Residential standards), and frequently have little patience for the general public.

  3. Doctor's Data Lab Analysis: Order a Doctor's Data hair analysis from Direct Labs to gauge the heavy metal levels in your hair (Select "Tests", then search on "hair" and select the "Hair Elements" test by Doctor's Data). If your hair results are elevated, work with an environmental doctor (see above links) to chelate.

  4. Melisa Foundation: offers a blood test that examines an individual's exposure and allergy to heavy metals. The tests are processed through their laboratories located worldwide. Contact the nearest laboratory to find a doctor in your area.

  5. Mercury Free Dentists: Replace your mercury amalgams with non-metallic substitues.

Heavy metal chelation is a process that should be undertaken carefully. It changes the balance of chemicals in your body and this in itself can cause additional health problems. It is important to proceed with any chelation SLOWLY.

Important Note: We recommend taking chelation PILLS from a Pharmacy. Most doctors will prefer to use injections for chelation. However, this can make you vulnerable to infection and we do not recommend this option. The chelating agents (DMSA, EDTA, alpha lipoic acid) are offered in a variety of forms. All can be obtained as oral tablets.
